If You Have Received Text Messages From Marriott Employees’ Federal Credit Union, Please Do Not Respond
If you have received a text message allegedly from MEFCU asking you to call a toll-free number for various reasons, please DO NOT RESPOND! MEFCU or our related partners will not contact you via email or text messaging regarding your account.
The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) is aware of a number of text messages and emails that are circulating under subjects like:
- Account De-activation
- Account Status Alert
- Changes to Terms and Conditions
- Irregular Activity
These emails and text messages ask credit union members to call a number to have their account reactivated. Some may request that you leave callback information or provide your financial information directly. All of these emails are fraudulent. Please do not respond to these messages.
